Abstract

Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) was identified as a distinct entity from that of Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) in 2007. MOGAD presents as either a monophasic or multiphasic demyelinating syndrome in adults and children. We present a case of Leukoencephalopathy-like illness in a young boy who presented to our tertiary care centre with a stormy, refractory course, which improved significantly after the introduction of Tocilizumab as the immunotherapy.
